Yellow-brown color all over the bodyPointed, curved handle. It bears the name John Scarlett upfront, made with molded letters in relief, possibly the name of the person for whom this vessel was specifically madeCirca mid 1800’sAll originalMeasurements: Approx. 8.5 tall, 7.5 handle to spout, 6.5″ widest diameter (across)Weighs about 2 lbs. 12 oz.Condition: Very Good overall. No major issues at all, what-so-ever! Scattered crazing and minor firing cracks to letters and handle, J and last T with abrasions, shallow unobtrusive glaze flake on the top rim, hardly discernible hairline at the handle where it meets the top rim, altogether commensurate with age and use.
