An imposing 1814 French Provincial style walnut armoire capped with a deeply carved crown moulding and a huge pair of … more An imposing 1814 French Provincial style walnut armoire capped with a deeply carved crown moulding and a huge pair of a full-length paneled doors. This massive armoire has oversized brass escutcheons and beautifully tipped traditional lift-off iron hinges. The finely-executed and well-preserved floral carvings throughout stand in stark contrast to the thick and heavy walnut from which this solid piece was handcrafted. The wood grain has wonderful patina in rich caramel hues. This is a very heavy, well-made and solid piece of furniture. The interior retrofitting for electronics was done without causing structural damage to the armoire’s integrity, stability or functionality. The interior can be seamlessly converted for shelving or hanging. Product Information:
