Originally designed by American designer Milo Baughman in 1965 for Thayer Coggin, this swivel chair has become a midcentury modern classic known for its timeless design. With its oversized silhouette and inviting barrel back, it provides both elegance and comfort. The plush upholstery in dark plum velvet adds richness to its appearance and a pleasing tactile experience; likewise, the seat cushion is filled with plush duck feathers. The plinth base covered in the same fabric not only supports the chair but also creates a floating illusion, enhancing the overall charm and mystique of the piece. This chair is accompanied by a matching ottoman equipped with casters, providing a perfect spot to rest your feet. In great condition, the chair showcases a clean and smooth fabric, ensuring a luxurious and well-maintained appearance.
