The cut outs are the flower petals and the center of the flowers protrude outward on the ceramic body. There is an interior shade to defuse the light source and can use up to a 40-Watt bulb. The body has a beautiful drip glazing of gentle shades of blues and greens. The upper socket can use up to a 100-Watt bulb. The custom-made lampshade is made of a slightly off-white linen with a hard backing and sky blue soutache trim on the top and bottom. The dimensions below reflect the total height including shade and it measures 25″ to the top of the socket. Newly wired. Great for ambient light using the bottom only as well as a regular lamp to brighten a room for reading using both top and bottom light sources. The lighting in these images is a bit yellowed, the lamp and shade are crisp. less
