This is entirely blown glass. Strands of different colors of brown, amber and toffee, melted together hot and liquid, then blown into a pitcher. The style is mid century Empoli of Italy, I do not know it’s provenance. The stirrer speaks volumes though. Knock offs or more recent pieces would not have the stirrer. Which absolutely matches. Check out how the knob of it was made. That particular detail….. I’m going to price it as though it were an excellent reproduction, but it likely is NOT a reproduction. Please check the rest of my store for non matching glasses that absolutely were not made to go with this pitcher but oh my goodness. Yes, ahem. I’m going to finish this listing before I scream mine and go hide it. Go look at the pictures. Know that I did my best to get the pictures to translate- and it didn’t come near. It’s a work of art, quite literally. PLEASE check out my Chairish store, as there are pieces that were not made to go with but absolutely belong with it. less
